Grief Recovery Program

The Grief Recovery Program provides the correct action choices that help people move beyond the pain caused by loss.  It is a powerful program which creates a safe environment in which to look at old beliefs about dealing with loss; to look at what losses have affected your life; and to take new actions which lead to completion of the pain attached to these losses.

The Moving On Program is program specifically designed to move beyond the pain caused by romantic loss. It creates a safe environment to look at your past relationships;  to look at old beliefs about dealing with romantic loss;  to look at how this loss has affected your life and what new actions to take to complete any unfinished emotional business, enabling you to move beyond the pain.

The Grief Recovery Handbook, and Moving On books, written by John W. James and Russell Friedman, founders of The Grief Recovery Institute, are used as texts for both Programs.  Supplementary information is also provided.

This powerful and dynamic program is the most sensible, accessible, and authentic plan available for recovery form loss.  The program is neither a support group nor a drop-in program.  It is experiential and action-based.  Commitment and attendance are essential for the safety and success of all participants.

The programs are facilitated in a 10 week group or one-on-one format.  Individual format is often facilitated via Skype sessions which allows everyone to have access to this powerful program.

The Grief Recovery Programs are facilitated by Darlene, a Registered Nurse, who has been trained and certified by The Grief Recovery Institute.  As a licensed Grief Recovery Specialist, Darlene has direct access to the founders of the Institute.
